Brett Sutherlin


Brett Sutherlin brings over 18 years of automotive experience to fusionZONE Automotive. fusionZONE was founded in 2009 by Brett and Karen Sutherlin at the dealership level after identifying the need for a more robust website solution. As consumer web presence became increasingly prevalent in the automotive industry, the Sutherlin’s quickly found a niche in this relatively new digital marketing arena and launched fusionZONE Automotive. Together they have grown fusionZONE Automotive to be one of the largest Automotive Digital Marketing companies in the U.S.

Brett Sutherlin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Marketing from Northwood University. The National Automobile Dealers Association (N.A.D.A.) selected Northwood University as the exclusive college to develop the only collegiate degree program in Automotive Marketing & Management.

Ed Barton

Chief Executive Officer

Ed Barton brings over 25 years of operational, technical, legal and financial management experience to fusionZONE Automotive, LLC. In his role as Chief Executive Officer, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. Barton has a wide range of experience in B2B and B2C enterprises, including organizations in the consumer products, higher education, professional services and financial technology spaces. His experience includes Chief Executive Officer, President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer roles in multiple fast-growing Inc. 5000 Companies.

Barton holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA in Operations Management from Syracuse University, an M.Ed. in Instructional Design from Western Governors University and a JD from Northwestern California University. He is a CPA licensed in the State of Washington, and an attorney licensed in the State of California.

Andrew Somoza

Executive Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer

Andrew Somoza is an experienced executive sales leader who works with established and early stage technology companies to optimize and drive top line revenue. Andrew is a passionate entrepreneur with proven track record for leading teams to success through strategy, direct sales, business development, and talent development. With 20+ years of experience in domestic and international Saas-based and Enterprise solution sales, Andrew knows what it takes to build and scale a winning sales program for businesses of all sizes.

Andrew is a former student-athlete and graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with a BS in Management and a minor in Economics and Marketing. He is also proud to serve as a Board Member for Georgia Tech’s Alexander-Tharpe Fund, Board Member/Investor for Transcend LLC, Board of Directors for YMCA of Metro Atlanta, Board of Advisors for QASymphony, Board of Advisors for Junior Achievement Academy, and the Woodruff Arts Center EFA Committee. Andrew lives in Atlanta with his wife, Jessie, and three daughters.

Emily Sander


Emily Sander brings over 10 years of customer service and operational leadership to fusionZONE Automotive, LLC. She has worked for companies ranging from Amazon and Microsoft to small technology start-ups. In her role as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, she currently provides operational oversight for FZA Digital, LLC, manages strategic partnerships, internal change management, and multiple other cross-functional initiatives. She is a Certified Professional Coach and has a passion for developing managers and teams to achieve peak performance.

A lifelong learner, Emily is a graduate of the University of Washington and the International Coach Academy and has taken additional coursework at Bellevue College and the University of California, San Diego.

Anna Flom

Vice President of Operations

Anna brings nearly a decade of automotive website management experience to fusionZONE Automotive. In her role as Vice President of Operations, she is responsible for internal operations and developing processes to enhance customer service. Flom coordinates implementation, continued management and compliance requirements for all fusionZONE Automotive websites. Her focus is directed at team building, fostering a customer first service culture, and growing impactful processes for maintaining websites. Her background includes 7 years of practical experience in front-end website development, graphic design, customer service, and lean business management at Motorwebs a company that was acquired by fusionZONE Automotive in April 2018.

Glorimar Hefner

VP- Chief Financial Officer

Glorimar oversees all aspects of fusionZone’s finances, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements and reporting to Primus Capital board and clients. Glorimar brings over two decades of financial management experience in the private sector with a focus on developing policies and procedures to improve performance and productivity. Before joining fusionZone, Glorimar worked for global providers of mobile application development, platforms, artificial intelligence and technology solutions companies. She helped these organizations prepare new business plans, streamline financial and procedural policies and create monitoring and accountability systems. Outside of work, in addition to spending time at the beach with her family, Glorimar truly enjoys working on genealogy and family history. Glorimar received her BBA in Accounting from California Polytechnic State University and an Executive Masters of Business Administration degree from Stetson University.

Alex Papadopulos

Chief Technology Officer

As Chief Technology Officer, Alex oversees all technical initiatives at fusionZONE Automotive, including management of existing technology as well as developing new product roadmaps. Alex has worked in a number of industries, as a Systems Analyst for Clover Dairies in South Africa, as a consultant for a BI consulting firm, and most recently as VP of Operations for Striata USA in the Electronic Bill Payment and Presentment industry. He brings technical and operational leadership experience with a passion for innovation in the technical field as well as process driven security and risk management, and well defined process oriented implementation.

Alex has a graduate degree from Bond University in Information Technology, majoring in Information Systems and programming.
